Rating Overview

Ratings are based on my subjective review (The Queen of Towels) of white towels only. There is NO industry certified standard, which is what prompted me to begin this rating system. While my graduate degree is in Counseling and Psychology, my hobby for relaxations has always been about searching out quality items that includes spending several hours feeling towels. Yes, I am the person the sales people are all laughing at in the department and outlet stores, but one thing is without question, I KNOW my towels.

Rating System

I absolutely NEVER enter a store without going through the Linen Section and touching the towels and sheets! It is passion and source of relaxation to find a towel that is simply wonderful to use after a bath or shower. The first thing I do is feel every towel in the department. Once I narrowed down a few of the softest towels, I pick at the fabric to see which ones easily unravel. If I find a towel that holds up to my picking, I move to review the construction of the edging, If a towel gets picked, I take the towel home and run it through three washes and drys before giving it an initial rating. I will only then give it an initial rating of Standard, Good, and Exceptional:

The product meets all three standards: Standard

The product is better than standard: Good

Without question, and at the time of rating, the product is the supremely rated: Exceptional
